After advancing to the finals and finishing 4 th overall in the 6 th grade bracket, Alexandra Kartsonas will now move to on state level competition in June in Harrisburg. All four students from Peters Township made it to the semi-final round. 24 Challenge Four 6 th graders from McMurray Elementary took part in the 24 Challenge Math Tournament at Intermediate Unit 1. This event is organized annually by teacher Lora O Brien. Students researched and portrayed such historical figures as Harriet Tubman, Walt Disney, Alexander Graham Bell, Elvis Presley, Annie Oakley and more.
